August 13 - 14, 2013 Write On Con: An online only conference for all writers, but geared mostly toward writers of young adult and middle grade novels.
September 21, 2013 Midwest Storymakers Conference: An extension of the LDS Storymakers conference, held in Kansas, open to all writers, presented with an LDS viewpoint.
October 7 - 13, 2013 The Muse Online Conference: Free online conference for all genres and writing styles.
October 25 - 26, 2013 Kanab Writers' Conferece: Everything from poetry to novel writing, with a focus on craft basics. Kanab, UT.
November 8 -9, 2013 Kid Lit Con: Held in Austin, TX this year. Open to all writers, specifically geared toward writers of YA, MG, and children's books.
February 13 - 15, 2014 Life, the Universe, Everything: Conference held in Utah for speculative fiction writers.
February 21 - 25, 2014 Society of Children's Book Writers, International (SCBWI): Winter conference in New York for all writers, geared toward YA, MG, and children's book writers.
February 20 - 22, 2014 American Night Writers' Association "Time out for Writers": Conference in Phoenix. Open to all writers, presented with an LDS viewpoint, put on by a women's organization.
April 4 - 6, 2014 Desert Rose RWA: Romance Writers of America conference held in Tempe, Arizona.
April 24 - 26, 2014 LDS Storymakers Conference: A conference in Utah for all writers, presented with an LDS viewpoint.
April 24 - 27, 2014 Pike's Peak Writers Conference: For all writers, with an emphasis on novel-writing
June 20 -22, 2014 UtopYA: Conference for women who write YA and NA speculative fiction held in Austin, TX.
July 23 - 26, 2014 Romance Writer's of America: Conference for all writers, geared toward romance writers.
Summer 2014 Book Expo America: Not a writing conference, per se, but many panels discuss the direction of the publishing industry, plus many opportunities to network, market yourself and your book, and learn about the industry.
